Olukunle Oluwasemowo is a medical researcher, academic and molecular scientist. He has a PhD in
virology and has won multiple awards, as a virologist, author and academician.He is a dynamic
academic scholar with various notable international projects. His desire to share knowledge is
contagious. Dedicated to finding solutions, he has published a number of novel research findings in the
areas of infectious diseases in reputable international peer-reviewed journals. As a result of promoting
healthy living among all individuals, he has coordinated various projects, including reaching people
living in rural areas and in marginalized neighborhoods.
He has many years of management experience in medical research and academic management. He is
well sought out as a speaker on lots of health and wellness programs in the media space, especially in
notable media houses in Southwestern Nigeria. Dr. Olukunle is a front-liner in the fight against the
ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He has led projects geared towards designing, implementing and
operating ethics and compliance programs, as related to best practices for individual and
organizational health and wellness.
Olukunle is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse range of talents and interests. He is a
devoted family man, serving as both a loving father and husband. In addition to his family commitments,
Olukunle is also a dedicated pastor, using his faith to guide and inspire those around him. Beyond his
religious pursuits, Olukunle is a highly successful medical researcher, academic, and molecular
scientist. With a PhD in virology, he has established himself as a leading expert in the field, winning
multiple awards for his contributions to the field, including two Bill and Melinda Gates Travel Awards on Translational Vaccinology.
Throughout his career, Olukunle has demonstrated a passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge
with others. Before becoming a full-time researcher and academic, he worked as a teacher, where he
was able to impart his wealth of knowledge to students and help them develop their own skills and
passions. As a researcher and academic, he continues to demonstrate this same dedication to
education and has made numerous contributions to the field through his research, writing, and
mentorship of young scientists.

As a medical researcher and an academician, he has impacted lives at all levels of education in
Nigeria, and across the globe. His research focuses on providing insights to help fight against the
menace of viruses of medical importance. In the last three years, he has worked as a team lead in a
technologically driven diagnostic laboratory where he assisted in establishing branches of the lab in
multiple states in Nigeria and coordinated the day–to–day running of the laboratories.
He brings his passion, research ethics, and knowledge of quality management systems to help achieve
the dream of educating people and helping them create wealth.Businesses and nonprofits organisations
have chosen him to serve on their boards of directors His work on business boards and non-profit
boards is complemented by his service to many youths as a life coach.
